Rangihoua Estates signature Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the Waiheke Blend is believed to be from Verdale, Mission and Ascalano olives. The trees were taken as cuttings from nearby Stonyridge Vineyard and were some of the earliest olive trees at the estate.

This EVOO has a good creamy base with overtones of herbs, apple, apple peel and a late peppery finish.

Waiheke Island is a small island situated in the Hauraki Gulf of New Zealand. It has a warm and windy mediterranean-like micro-climate which is ideal for olive growing. The olives thrive here with no need for chemical spraying to produce perfectly sun-ripened olives. Once the olives are harvested, the oil is cold extracted within hours to optimize and retain the olives health enhancing qualities and taste.
