Koroneiki 2021 Harvest Extra Virgin Olive OIl | Rangihoua Estate
The Koroneiki is a Greek olive variety that comes from the Kalamata region. It's harvested and processed separately as it has a distinctive and robust Greek flavor.
2020 Koroneiki tasting notes from Rangihoua: A medium fruity oil. The aroma is fresh grass and apple. The initial taste is fruity like pears and melon, then changes to green capsicum and a nasturtium flower finish.
In 2019 Rangihoua submitted their Koroneiki and Frantoio to Flos Olei for scoring and they were awarded 98/100 which putting them in the top three rankings in the world. In 2020 they achieved the same score. Only 25 estates in the world were scored at the same level or higher.
This is the first year we've brought this variety to the US and we're super excited to be adding to Rangihoua's award winning range.
