The Kanuka plant is a lesser known cousin of the Manuka plant. The plant looks very similar to Manuka but grows bigger, with smaller flowers and softer leaves.
Kanuka honey is ligther in color than Manuka with a similar thick and creamy consistency and taste.
While Kanuka honey is not as well researched as Manuka, It also has antibacterial properties superior to that of 'regular' honey and also has unique anti-inflammatory properties.
Made in the wild at Tahi with profits going to conservation and community projects.
